We were made for these times
Jan 15, 2017Clarissa Pinkola Estes writes eloquently about our true strength emerging when we are tested. These times are truly testing times! As a sailor I appreciate her final words, that ships may be safe in harbours but they are not made to live in harbours.
When I’m sailing on the ocean, using the sea and the wind to best advantage of our yacht, it’s a great feeling of being stretched to the maximum yet joyous in the strength that it calls forth from me.
This is life as it was meant to be lived!
